Alerts and Important Information

Site

No pets are allowed within Osprey Point Yurt area because of the Natural Wildlife area.

No smoking is allowed within the yurts.

There are three large yurts in a common area. Two are on one deck and the third is on a separate deck. Each Yurt has a cook table, dining table, folding chairs, a two burner Coleman cook stove and two Coleman lanterns. Renters need to supply their own propane canisters. We recommend 1 canister for each appliance per day. A total of 8 canisters per day for all three yurts. Group fire ring and picnic tables are available. Potable drinking water is available at the site.

Fees accommodate only one Motor Vehicle Entrance Fee, all others must pay upon arrival at the park. You must contact the park (208) 382-6544 upon completion of your reservation to receive a packet containing information about driving direction, gate access codes and key box combinations for keys to the yurt doors. If you do not contact the park you will not have access to the yurts. There will be no office check-in available or staff on hand to assist you. No refunds are given for failure to make arrangements with the park. If you have purchase a $10.00 Idaho State Parks Passport or $40.00 MVEF Annual Pass the Motor Vehicle Entrance Fee is waived for the vehicle displaying the sticker. Out state residence can purchase the $40.00 MVEF Annual Pass upon arrival to the park.
