Yurt Access Code: Each yurt has an individual code number on the door lock. Be sure you have that code written down somewhere before you head up the trail. Remember, it is your responsibility to make sure you have the code before you go.

How to get the code:
By email:judy.ditto@idpr.idaho.gov and the Yurt Coordinator will email the code back to you.

By Phone: call 1-208-514-2418 to reach the Yurt Coordinator a week to 2 days ahead of your planned trip. Be sure to include the name of the yurt you have booked, your reservation number, name and phone number when you email or phone. And allow at least 2 days for a response.

Dog Policy: Dogs are allowed year round at all yurts with one exception: From Dec 1st to April 15th dogs are NOT allowed at Banner Ridge or Elkhorn yurts.

You must read: The Liability Waiver and the summer/winter manuals located on the parksandrecreation.idaho.gov website, go to yurts, then Idaho City Backcountry yurts, scroll to bottom of the page. Also read the applicable summer/winter guides located on the parksandrecreation.idaho.gov website under the specific yurt you are interested in. These manuals and guides will provide you with valuable information regarding trip planning, facilities, warning, safety and equipment list..

Park N Ski parking pass: Customers arriving November 15th through April 30th must purchase/display in their vehicle a valid Park N Ski parking pass: More information about the pass is on the website.

Fireworks are prohibited at all yurts. No Exceptions!
