Ridgeview Campground is opening on June 30th 2009 : Effective June 30 2009 at 8:00 am reservations for Ridgeview will be accepted on the 9-month window. Campers are to be advised of the following cautions Tent pad space is limited, and all tents must be kept on the defined living pad. Ridgeview campsite water pressure may exceed 100 psi (pounds per square inch). . Plumbing in many RVs is not designed to operate at pressures above 45 psi. To prevent possible damage to RVs campers should use regulators between the hose bibat the site and the RVs water line, or fill the RVs water tank and use water from it. Lake Cascade State Park, IDDescriptionLake Cascade State Park is nestled in the majestic mountains of central Idaho approximately 75 miles north of Boise on State Highway 55. Popular for all types of boating, prevailing winds on the water make it especially well suited for sailing and windsurfing. Hiking, bird watching, photography, mountain biking, all types of boating, ice fishing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and just plain relaxing are all easily accessible from Lake Cascade State Park. Lake Cascade offers two group camping opportunities, including a group camp and the Osprey Point group yurt complex, 200 individual campsites in 7 developed campgrounds (with Ridgeview offering power, water and some sewer at each site), dispersed camping areas with primitive camping, several day use areas, and 6 boat launch ramps. The business office for the park is located in the city of Cascade near the intersection of Dam Road and Lakeshore Drive. Make Lake Cascade State Park your "recreation destination." (Latitude, Longitude): 44.51806, -116.05417 Direction to Cabarton: Cabarton is a day use area located on the outskirts of Cascase, Idaho. Turn west onto Old State Highway, off of Highway 55 in the town of Cascade (follow signs to golf course). Turn left on Lakeshore Dr. Continue down Lakesure Dr. until you see Cabarton on the right hand side of the road. It is the southern most unit on Lakeshore Dr. Directions to Snowbank: Snowbank campground is located on the outskirts of Cascade, Idaho. Turn west onto Old State Highway, off of Highway 55 in the town of Cascade (follow signs to golf course). Turn left on Lakeshore Dr. Continue down Lakeshore Dr. until you see Snowbank on the right-hand side of the road. This is Lake Cascade's group campground on the East side of the lake. Directions to Blue Heron: Blue Heron campground is located on the outskirts of Cascade, Idaho. Turn west onto Old State Highway, off of Highway 55 in the town of Cascade (follow signs to golf course). Turn left on Lakeshore Dr. Continue down Lakeshore Dr. until you see Blue Heron on the right-hand side of the road. Directions to VanWyck: Van Wyck campground is located within the town of Cascade, Idaho. Turn west onto Old State Highway, off of Highway 55 in the town of Cascade, Idaho (follow signs to golf course). You will come to Van Wyck boat ramp. The host site is north of the boat ramp in the campground. Directions to Ridgeview: Ridgeview campground is located within the twon of Cascade, Idaho. Turn west onto Old State Highway, off of Highway 55 in the town of Cascade, Idaho (follow signs to golf course). You will come to Van Wyck boat ramp. Turn right (north) on Lakeshore Dr. The entrance to Ridgeview is located about a quarter mile north on the west side of the Lakeshore. Directions to Crown Point: Crown Point is located on the outskirts of Cascade, Idaho. Drive through the town of Cascade on Highway 55. Turn west on Vista Point BLVD (it's about 0.5 miles north of Cascade). Drive until you come to an intersection (cross stree is Lake Way). Drive through the intersection, entering Crown Point campground. Directions to Sugarloaf: Sugarloaf is located off of Highway 55 between Cascade and Donnelly, Idaho. Turn west on Stonebreaker Rd, off of Highway 55. Continue down Stonebreaker Rd. until you reach the campground, which will be on the left side of the road. Directions to Boulder Creek: Doulder Creek Day Use Area is loaced off of Highway 55 between Cascade and Donnelly, Idaho. There are two options for getting to the park unit. Option 1: Turn west onto Loomis Lane, off of Highway 55. Turn left on Spring Valley Rd. Turn right on Lake Trail. Turn left on Cascade Dr. Turn right on Wildwood Dr. Turn left on Hereford. Turn right into the park! This route may be a little confusing; however, if you take these roads you will always be on pavement. All of the other side roads are dirt roads. There are signs at each intersection marking the route in. Option 2: Turn west onto Loomis Lane, off of Highway 55. Turn left on Siscra Rd. Turn right on Durham Lane. Turn left on Hereford Rd. Continue (it becomes a little winding from driving through the subdivision) until you see the park unit on the right side of the road. There are signs at each intersection marking the route in. Directions to Huckleberry: Huckleberry is on the west side of the lake. The easiest way to reach this campground is through Donnelly, Idaho. Turn west on Roseberry Rd., off of Highway 55. Turn south (left) on West Mountain Rd. Continue until you reach Huckleberry campground. It will be on the east (left) side of the road.
