Harriman State Park, IDStatus: Open through Fri Dec 31 2010 Season Dates Max reservation window: Tue Nov 09 2010 Later Dates DescriptionHarriman State Park of Idaho lies within an 11,000-acre wildlife refuge in the greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.Known as one of the best fly-fishing streams in the nation, the Henrys Fork meanders for eight miles through Harriman. Guests renting the facility can take part in all park programs including horseback riding, hiking, ranch tours, and fly-fishing on the famous Henry's Fork. Winter at Harriman offers 24 miles of Nordic ski trails. Opportunities to view moose, elk, trumpeter swans, and waterfowl are abundant. Harriman State Park is located only 38 miles from Yellowstone National Park and 14 miles from spectacular Mesa Falls Services & Amenities:
Alerts and Important InformationParking is provided within 200 yards of the Bunkhouse. Carts are available to transport supplies. During the winter months, the Bunkhouse is located 1 1/2 mile from the nearest parking. All supplies must be transported by ski or sleds. Snowmobiles are not permitted. Renters are responsible for cleanup of the Bunkhouse after use, with the exception of provided linens. A $150 cleaning deposit is required. The Scovel Education Center and Cabins are park reservable only. Please call Harriman State Park at 208-558-7368 for information and to make reservations. Winter Access Fees of $2/per person are assessed during winter months. Signed User Agreements must be received for facilities to be unlocked. Quiet hours are enforced from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am.
