Henrys Lake State Park is located just 15 miles west of Yellowstone National Park on a high mountain lake. The lake is located in an open valley at 6,000 feet surrounded on three sides by the Continental Divide. Henrys Lake is one of the finest fishing lakes in Idaho. Much of its water comes from springs and the lake`s rich aquatic growth provides tremendous nourishment for fish. Henrys Lake is world renowned for its large cutthroat, brook and cut-bow hybrid trout. The park offers campfire programs, boat launch, nature trails and fish cleaning stations. Because of its location the park is full of wildlife, giving you the opportunity to watch bears and wolves in their natural habitat. Henrys Lake offers 44 campsites and 3 camper cabins
